Favorite Toy Characters 16 — Spongebob Toy Characters
The television show Spongebob Squarepants is a big hit with children. This show takes the viewer to an underwater world. Spongebob and his friends live under the sea and always seem to get themselves into some kind of predicament. There are many well known characters on this show and even Spongebob toys that have been developed off of these characters.
Spongebob Squarepants
Spongebob is the main character of the show. He lives in a pineapple that is under the sea. He is a yellow sea sponge that wears a shirt, tie, and pants. Spongebob is overly friendly sometimes and his innocence always seems to get him into some kind of trouble. He works at the Krusty Krab and is generally good hearted even though he can be mischievous.
Patrick
Patrick is a star fish and is Spongebob’s best friend. Patrick is not the smartest fish in the ocean and is always tagging along with Spongebob on his adventures.
Sandy Cheeks
Sandy is another good friend that can be found hanging out with Spongebob. She is a squirrel that is able to live under the sea by staying in a glass dome. She is good at everything she tries. Sandy is known to get into angry moods sometimes and it is best not to cross her. She walks around in a special suit that is filled with air so she can go anywhere that Spongebob does.
Gary
Gary is a snail and is Spongebob’s pet. He is smarter than the average sea creature and likes to play. Gary has a musical sense and is a loyal companion to Spongebob.
Squidward Tentacles
Squidward is a neighbor of Spongebob and enjoys playing the clarinet. He works with Spongebob at the Krusty Krab. Squidward gets annoyed with Spongebob and some of the things that he tries to do. Squidward seems like he is never able to have any fun. While he is really kind at heart Spongebob does tend to get under his tentacles sometimes.
Mr. Krabs
Mr. Krabs is the owner of the Krusty Krab. He gets fed up with Spongebob and has fired him a number of times. He always seems to take Spongebob back in. Mr. Krabs loves money and is focused on making more and more of it.
Plankton
Plankton owns a restaurant called the Chum Bucket. It is right near the Krusty Krab and Plankton is always looking for a way to get the secret recipe to the famous Krabby Patty. Plankton always wants to take over the world while he is at it. Spongebob always manages to stop Plankton from taking this over even though he does not realize that he is saving the world.
These are some of the well known characters that child have come to know from the Spongebob show. While these characters are good natured they do tend to get into trouble from now and then. Spongebob and his friends always manage to get out of it and in the end everything turns out to be okay for them.
